The exhibition features 60 paintings and architectural models of Russian art of the early XX century, coming from the Tretyakov State Gallery and the Russian regional museums of cities such as Kazan, Kirov, Krasnodar, Nizhny, Novgorod, Pskov, Samara, Saratov.

Rome has not dedicated a large exhibition to this great Venetian master since 1937, in part because moving the large canvasses is a complicated affair. This is a unique event and well worth the chance to see and admire the almost fifty works of art on display for the occasion in the beautiful rooms of the Quirinale Stables. Jacopo Robusti, known as Tintoretto is one of the greatest exponents of the Venetian school and was probably the last great painter of the Italian Renaissance. The exhibition in the Quirinale Stables has therefore set itself the task of comprehensively illustrating his work by presenting the three main genres of the great Venetian master: religious paintings, mythological subjects, and portraits.

The 140 paintings on display in this exhibit arrived from all over the world and aim to reconstruct the interwoven fabric of the Eternal City in which Caravaggio lived and worked. “The Last Caravan” is a photographic and audiovisual exhibit of the great contemporary Turkish photographer Arif Asci who retraced the ancient Silk Road from Xian to Istanbul in a caravan with eight people and ten camels. The 12,000 kilometre journey lasted 18 months and crossed Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Iran. This magnificent exhibition organized and presented by Reinhard Schultz is a journey through Italian history. The exposition presents a first chronological period in a collection of images in albums or photochrom (colorized after the photo has been taken) images.
