October 15th, 2013 by admin
The Museo di Roma has brought this very important Robert Capa exhibition into being. The renowned Hungarian photographer is considered by some as the father of photojournalism. Although never a soldier himself, Capa lived most of his life on battlefields capturing five of the world’s major conflicts: the Spanish Civil War, the Sino-Japanese War, World War II, the 1948 Arab-Israeli War and the First Indochina War. New exhibit space dedicated specifically to temporary art shows will be used for the occasion. The 78 photographs on display testify to the way Capa’s ...

LUDOVICA GIOSCIA. Forecasting Ouroboros

August 27th, 2013 by admin
Ludovica Gioscia, the volcanic Italian-born artist who lives and works in London has created wallpaper made out of many different materials, nuances and designs for the walls of Rome’s Macro museum. A jubilee of glam colours and a vast repertoire of visuals and materials (purchased, gathered and catalogued by the artist herself) that earnestly expresses our spellbound fascination with the ...
