“The Last Caravan” is a photographic and audiovisual exhibit of the great contemporary Turkish photographer Arif Asci who retraced the ancient Silk Road from Xian to Istanbul in a caravan with eight people and ten camels. The 12,000 kilometre journey lasted 18 months and crossed Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Iran. This exhibit is part of  “Vie Della Seta”, an 11-exhibit programme hosted by Rome’s most prestigious museums.
