After having won over 33 million spectators throughout the world, Gunther von Hagens’ outstanding exhibition is finally in Italy: Body Worlds – The Real World of the Human Body. This is a much anticipated event that attracts visitors from all over Italy and is hosted at Rome’s Officine Farneto. Real human bodies are on display which have been perfectly preserved through the “Plastination Technique” invented and patented by the famous artist himself. In this manner,  it is possible to view mechanisms of the human body and the difference between diseased and healthy  organs.
