This exhibit presents the theme of Vanity through the masterpieces accumulated over the centuries by one of Rome’s most illustrious families. It is no coincidence that this family even brought one of its representatives to the pontifical throne. The exhibit features four sections distributed in 5 different halls and features still lifes, sacred and portrait paintings. The fourth and final section is dedicated to Cardinal Benedetto Pamphilj, the great patron and collector of works of art.
