LA PESANTEZZA E LA GRAZIA (HEAVINESS AND GRACE) – Villa Medici – Rome

HEAVINESS-AND-GRACE-ROME

Rome’s Villa Medici is dedicating its rooms to an extraordinary exhibition of works by five outstanding artists: Marthe Wéry, Callum Innes, Georges Tony Stoll, Emmanuel Van Meulen and Emanuele Beceri. These artists and their work share the common theme of the idea of extraction as a logic of non-representation.
The exhibit will be guided by its curator or by the artists themselves with observations regarding the relationship between contemporary art and spirituality.
The exhibit is dedicated to the great philosopher Simone Weil.
